Ortac Global has done accounting, tax and corporate advisory since 1996, from its own offices in Dubai, London and Nicosia. Its readers are business owners deciding where to set up a company, reading in Turkish or English.

Can Stripe take my payments? Can I set up without travelling? Does a company give me residency? Each question has three answers, one per country. The site gives them country by country, in two languages, and says no where the honest answer is no.

The site, running

The home page, as it runs today. Recorded on the live site.

One firm, three countries, and every country answers differently.

/01 Three countries

The country comes first on every path. Each hub opens on the choice of structure, then runs through the advantages, the process, the documents, the tax frame and what is owed after formation.

Dubai carries the most pages, fifteen per language, because it has the most choices: free zone or mainland, accounting, VAT and corporate tax filings, visas. The UK and Northern Cyprus follow the same order.

Dubai hub: free zone or mainland, decided by where the customers are
Dubai
UK hub: forming a company in the UK
United Kingdom
Northern Cyprus hub: two types of company
Northern Cyprus

Seventy-two pages per language, each with one job.

/02 The site map

The home page shows the firm and does not sell: its years, its countries, its services and sectors. Every other page answers one question a business owner asks before deciding.

Where the honest answer is no, the page says no. Does a company give a tax advantage on its own? No. Is a bank account guaranteed? No, the bank decides. Both sit near the top of the home page questions.

Tools that do the first meeting’s arithmetic.

/03 Tools and flows

Eight tools run in the browser: corporate tax for Dubai and the UK, UAE VAT, IFZA activity codes, UK SIC codes, a UK name check, a name generator and a domain search. The country fit test asks eleven questions and scores the three countries without deciding for the reader.

Get a quote is a four-step flow: country, setup, details, quotation. The quote is built as a PDF on the server, in Turkish or English, and stays valid for 14 days.

The fit test, answered on the live site. The log on the right keeps the score for each country.

From a calculator to a written quote, on any screen.

/04 The quote

The calculators show the working, not just a figure: presets, annual or monthly input, the effective rate. Every tool has its own page in both languages.

On a phone the steps are the same as on a desktop. The phone bar keeps two things, the quote button and the menu.

Turkish and English ship together, page for page.

/05 Two languages

Every page has its pair, linked for search engines. English addresses are English names, not translations of the Turkish ones.

The rule on the project: a change to a Turkish line ships with its English in the same round, so a page never goes out half translated.

One blue, white pages, and a night panel for every drawing.

/06 The look

The look grew from the firm’s own logo and blue. Pages stay white; every diagram, from the bank file to the tax calendar, sits on a night panel inside a white card, so the drawings read as one family.

Halfway through, the live code was measured before any rule was written. The system that came out of it keeps 11 font sizes, about 30 colour tokens and 3 breakpoints.

/07 The system

The audit counted every value the code used: 96 font sizes, 143 spacing values, 58 breakpoints. The system kept what the pages needed and named it.

A before and after check of 25 pages at two widths showed no visual change from the clean-up. The main stylesheet went from about 34,000 lines to about 13,000.

On a phone the menu is four tabs and one column.

/08 On the phone

Inside the phone menu, Services, Tools, Resources and Company sit as four tabs, each a single column of boxed rows. Card grids stack into one column.

The old home page led with tax advantages. The new one starts with the firm.

/09 Before and after

The old site, as the Internet Archive kept it on 1 September 2026, opened on a centred headline about taking a business to global markets with tax advantages. The new home page opens on 30 years in three countries.

The move happened on 13 October 2026. Before the switch, all 138 addresses of the old site were opened on the new one; 33 old blog posts that would have landed on an empty page now redirect to the closest new page.
