Before your site opens on your domain, these eight jobs are done and checked one by one. We are with you that day.

- Domain connectedYour site opens at your own address; the domain is in your name.
- Secure connection (SSL)The address opens with https, and the browser never says “Not secure”.
- RedirectsOld addresses lead to the new pages for good; http and www go to one address.
- Search ConsoleThe sitemap is sent to Google; this is where you watch how you show up in search.
- AnalyticsVisitor tracking works; the first visits show up in your panel.
- Speed checkMeasured on a phone; anything that slowed it down was fixed before launch.
- AccessibilityIt works with a keyboard, images have descriptions and the text has enough contrast.
- BackupThe first backup of the live site is taken; if anything goes wrong, we can go back.

Questions about working together
The questions we hear most about weeks, approvals and working together.
What do you need from me?
Three things, each with a date on your sheet: an hour for the first call, your words and images by the end of week two (or we write them), and one person who can say yes.
What happens if something slips?
You hear it from us that Friday, with the reason and a new date. If we slip, we add hands rather than cut what is on the sheet. If content arrives late, we agree the new dates together, in writing.
Can I change my mind halfway?
Yes. Small changes fit inside the two rounds at each stage. A bigger one, like a new section, goes on the sheet with its weeks before we start it, so nothing surprises you.
What do I get at handover?
The site on your domain, the editor with your own login, a short video made for your site, and the keys: domain, hosting, code and analytics in your name. Nothing is held back.
