What does Paftane do for hosting, security and care?
Hosting is the server your site lives on; security and care keep the site up to date, backed up and safe after launch. Paftane does not sell hosting: we open the account in your name and set it up. A secure connection (SSL) is set up on launch day; the domain, hosting, code and content are yours from day one. The first 30 days after launch are included. Monthly care is scoped to your site.
How much do hosting and care cost?
Hosting setup and a secure connection come with every package, inside the package price; the Starter package starts at $1,200. The hosting invoice is in your name. The first 30 days after launch are included. Monthly care is scoped to your site. Caring for a five page brochure site and for a shop with orders and stock are not the same job. Prices exclude VAT.

No. We open the account in your name and set it up; the invoice and the access are yours. If you stop working with us, the site goes with you.
What happens after the first 30 days?
The site keeps running. If you like, you move on to monthly care: updates, backups, security monitoring, a speed check and small changes. Stop any time.
What do you do if something breaks?
While care runs we watch the site; if something goes wrong we fix it, and roll back to a backup if needed. We write down what we did in the monthly note.
Do you look after a site someone else built?
No, we do not offer separate care for sites someone else built. If you move your site to us, it joins our setup and care starts from there.
How much is monthly care?
There is no fixed figure, because no two sites need the same care: a five page brochure site and a shop with orders and stock are different jobs. The first 30 days after launch are included in the package; we set the monthly price together once your site’s scope is clear.
