What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file a site leaves in your browser. Local storage does the same kind of job; we list it separately below.
You decide
Apart from what the site needs to work, no cookie or measuring tool runs until you say yes. The first time we ask, you pick Accept, Reject or Settings; in Settings you switch each group on or off, and none starts on. We keep your choice for 12 months, and ask again if the tools listed here or this text change.
You can change your mind any time, from Cookie settings at the bottom of every page or right here. When you withdraw consent, those tools stop loading and we delete the cookies they left.

Transfers abroad
The providers of the analytics and marketing tools (Google, Microsoft, Meta, LinkedIn) and of our cookieless counter, Cloudflare, are in the USA. When these tools run, measuring data such as browser details, the pages visited and a shortened IP address may reach their servers abroad. The analytics and marketing tools run only with your consent.
Deleting them in your browser
You can also delete or block cookies in your browser's settings. If you block the strictly necessary ones, your language and cookie choice are not remembered, and the banner appears on every visit.
