Frequently asked questions

If your question isn't here, ask Paf or write to us.

What is visibility in AI assistants, and what does Paftane do?

Visibility in AI assistants is the work that lets assistants like ChatGPT and Gemini read your site and use it in their answers (AEO, GEO). At Paftane the basics come with every new site: the text is ready on the page, robots.txt is open to assistants, and llms.txt and structured data are in place on launch day. From Studio up, titles become questions, the answer comes in the first sentence, and we check whether your site comes up in assistants' answers.

What does it cost?

The basics are in every package, inside the package price: Starter starts at $1,200, Studio at $2,400. The question in the title, the answer in the first sentence and the visibility check come from Studio up, where we write the copy with you. If your current site was built by someone else, we do this by moving your site to us; the price of the move is written in your sheet. Prices exclude VAT.

Packages and prices →
What does it take to show up in AI search?

The assistant has to be able to read your page and find the answer easily. For that, the text has to be ready on the page, the door has to be open to crawlers, and the answer to the question has to be written in one clear sentence. Everything on this page is for that.

Will ChatGPT recommend my site?

Nobody can guarantee that; the assistant decides which source it picks. What we can guarantee is that your site is readable and quotable.

What is llms.txt?

A plain text file at the root of the site: it says what you do in one sentence and lists the important pages. Think of it as a table of contents for assistants.

Is this different from SEO?

The basics are the same: clean titles, quotable text, structured data. The difference is in how the answer is written on the page. A search engine shows a link; an assistant reads a sentence.

Which package includes the check?

From Studio up. We ask assistants questions about your business and check whether your site comes up in the answer; you see the result in your panel.

Will I lose my place on Google if I move from my old site?

Old addresses redirect to the new pages, and titles and descriptions move over. There may be a short dip after the move. The technical work that keeps your place is done by launch day; the details are on the migration page.
