What does Paftane do for site speed?
Performance is the work that makes your site open on a phone without the wait. At Paftane we don't add speed later; we build the site that way from the start: text comes first, images are sized to the screen, the font never holds up the words, and files that don't change are kept on the phone. Before handover we check it on a real phone. It is in every package, at no extra fee.
Does performance cost extra?
Performance is in every package, inside the package price: Starter starts at $1,200, Studio at $2,400. We don't promise a speed score or a number of seconds; what we promise is how the site is built. If your current site is slow and was built by someone else, we make it fast by moving it to us; the price of the move is written in your sheet. Prices exclude VAT.

No. Scores and seconds change with the phone and the connection being measured. What we promise is how the site is built: text first, images sized to the screen, self-hosted fonts. Before handover we check it on a real phone.
Don't light and motion slow the site down?
Light and motion come after the page can be read; they don't hold up the text or the first image. A visitor whose phone has the reduced motion setting on sees the page still and finished.
My current site is slow. Will you speed it up?
We don't do standalone speed work on a site someone else built. You move your site to us: the pages and content move onto our setup, and everything described here is set up during the move.
