Is your name free?

Type it without an extension; we ask the registries about .com, .net, .org, .info and .app. A domain is always registered in your name.

Common questions

Not answered here? Ask Paf or tell us about your project.

Whose name is the domain registered in?

Yours. The domain is registered with your email; the login and the renewal stay with you. If you stop working with us, the domain goes with you.

What happens after a year?

Domains are rented by the year. Before the term ends, the registrar asks you to renew; we suggest keeping auto-renew on. A domain that isn’t renewed is suspended for a while and can then go back on sale. The registrar sets the renewal fee, and it can differ from the first year’s price.

Do you give away a free domain?

No. The domain is bought from a registrar, in your name; the registrar sets the price. There is no “free domain” promise in our packages.

Is the result final?

No, it is a first look: we ask each extension’s own registry through RDAP. The final answer comes from the registrar when you buy the domain.

.com or a local extension?

If your customers are mostly in one country, that country’s extension can build trust; if you speak to the world, .com is easy to remember. Many businesses buy both and point one to the other, so the site opens at one address.

I bought my domain somewhere else. Is that a problem?

No. The domain can stay wherever it is registered; connecting the site only takes a DNS setting. If you want to move it, we do that too, so that it stays in your name.
